A record number of entries for the championships saw the 41 girls and 32 boys produce 300 personal best times and break 7 club records. For the unfortunate there were 11 disqualifications.

Jenny’s spoil included 50m butterfly in 32.27 sec, 100m backstroke in 1min 11.76sec, 100m freestyle in 1min 2.43 sec and 200m backstroke in 2 min 37.09 sec. Douglas Holland broke the boys under 12 years 200m individual medley record with a 4 min 19.46 sec swim and Carl Harris took the 50m butterfly record with a time of 31.02 sec.

The age group winners, in ascending years, were Evie Butler, Marie Patrick, Lisa Patrick, Jenny Dean and Claire Evelyn for the girls and Stephen Willcox, Matthew Leydon, Carl Adamson, Carl Harris and Dean Tilley for the boys. Stephen was the only age group winner to be supreme in all four disciplines.
