personal group - fantasy formula one

After a hugely successful first attempt last year, we're hoping for even better this year.
Our FF1 comp is based ENTIRELY on that from fantasyf1game.net. We follow their rules, they update the points, which we then 'steal' and show on this website!

It costs just £15 per team, and you can enter as many teams as you like.

What you need to do:

  • Go to the fantasyf1game.net website, and look at the instructions and components pages (links are on left hand side)
  • login to that site (you can use your login/password from last year, or you can request a new one. Either way, just click on the login/register link on the right hand side, and follow the instructions. Please try and use your own name so that we know which team belongs to who)
  • enter your team(s) on that site. Click on the create team link on the left hand side (will only appear once you've logged in), and then submit your team(s, one at a time). No-one can see your team until the deadline for entries has passed, not even me.
  • Join our Personal Group mini-league. Click on the join league link on the left hand side, select Personal Group. The password to join our league is pg123.
  • Email me (bu@personal-group.com) to let me know that you have entered a team, so that I can include you on our FF1 mailing list, and chase you for the £15 entry fee!

The deadline for entries is midnight Friday 12th March. This is set by fantasyf1game.net, not us. Even if you are a just a second too late, you'll have to try again next year!

Also, the budget / rules etc are set by fantasyf1game.net. This means we cannot give you an extra £5 million for your team, as requested (seriously) by someone last year!

Prizes:

  • The fantasy team that scores the most points for each race (qualifying and actual race) will win £5. There are 19 races in total this season, so that's 19 chances to win a fiver.
  • The remaining prize money will go to the top 3 overall teams at the end of the season, in the following ratio:
    • 1st, 60% of remaining prize money
    • 2nd, 30%
    • 3rd, 10%
  • For example, if we have 41 teams enter (we had 29 teams last year, with just 2 days' notice), our total prize fund would be £615.
    • We would give out £95 in total for each race winner (19 x £5)
    • There would be £520 remaining for the end of season overall top 3
      • 1st place will receive £312
      • 2nd place £156
      • 3rd place £52

You can enter as many teams as you like for free on fantasyf1game.net. But to be part of our FF1, you must join the Personal Group mini league and pay us £15 for each of your teams in that league.
